On October 26th, 2021 the Cyprus University of Technology organized the advocacy event for SAVE project. The event was held in the rectory hall of the university and was attended by 29 participants, including nurses and other health professionals, officers from the police and social services, as well as from the Observatory of the Third Age. The aims of the Event were to:
- Raise awareness on Elder Abuse of participants
- Present the SAVE project and outline IO2 and IO3
- Present the methodology and the draft results of IO1
- Discuss for elder abuse and screening
- Get feedback on EASI screening instrument and recommendations,
- Collect the first feedback from participants
